US medium normally fits me perfectly, but I buy 2XL/34-36 in these shorts to keep the fabric away from my skin on hot days. The 34-36 are not baggy and look nice. These short are perfect. These are very nice polyester, light weight shorts. Of all the Chinese options on Amazon Ive ever ordered, these are probably the nicest ones. The fit is good, and they're comfortable. Reference- I'm 6', 200lbs, athletic build. I bought size 34.
