C.P. Mahon, One Pound, G89 367700 ( Dugg. B.212 ) Series "A" Britannia Issue November 1928The front features the medallion of Britannia. The reverse shows the south front of the Bank with vignettes of St George and the Dragon. These are contained in swirls of acanthus leaves of pale green, blue, and mauve. Watermark of wavy lines and the helmeted head of Britannia facing right. The banknote measures 150mm x 84mm. Ceased to be legal tender after 28th May 1962

I used their size guide to make sure I chose the right size, and when it arrived, it definitely was too small in the shoulders and the stomach (ahem). It looks good, and even though it’s synthetic, it feels pretty good too.
