The logo with a Pelikan feeding only 2 wee ones came out in 1937 and was used into the postwar era. This could be wartime or post war, there is no possible way to distinguish. Fairly good condition with some wear to the gold color. The advertisement is from Signal magazine April 1 1943.

I bought this for my bulldog/boxer dog thinking that it was completely made of leather but it’s not. It has an inch of felt type material between two very thin leather pieces which makes it easy for her to chew on, becoming soft very quickly and then falls apart. We took it away from the dog the first day and threw it away because we didn’t want her swallowing felt type material.
