Jibe Factory X28 Carbon 29" MTB RimOur Jibe Factory carbon rim is super light but still super strong. In order to achieve this we use a blend of T700 and T800 carbon fiber. T700 carbon is known for its high strength, while T800 is much lighter and stiffer. We combine these two materials resulting in a very lightweight and robust composite. Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly. Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration. Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
