It was manufactured by McCord Corp. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "M 300D". This is one of 325,000 helmets produced by McCord in 1965. The helmet retains an original olive drab field repaint, texture, and OD#7 (green) chinstrap remnants with black painted steel hardware.
