He was emphatically associated with both the New York School and the Color Field movement. Dzubas studied art in Germany before fleeing the Nazis in 1939 and settling in New York City. During the 1940s, Dzubas circulated with some of the leading abstract painters in the city's vital art scene, including Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline, and Katherine Dreier. Dzubas

Decent Divider/Backdrop from the price.

This divider w tricky to put together with some of the parts not seeming to fit well, but it DID go together with some effort and patience. The backdrop material is thin and while not the best quality doors what it’s supposed to do. I like the neutral gray color as it t blends with everything. I can also hang other backdrops from the frame. Overall very pleased with this.
