When placed over the instrument, the tuner will silently listen for electromagnetic fields emitted from the Chromaplanes surface and display information about the detected note. The turners LED display shows the cents off, closest chromatic note, and current octave. I like the design! We use paper plates most of the time! I would appreciate a plate with a sturdier Weight. The size is good for my husband and I.
