Made by Schacht so you know the quality is great. To thread it, just lay your yarn into the slot; it couldn't be simpler. Shuttles are approximately 1. 25" high by 1. 5" wide. Schacht Pirns not included. 12" weigs a mere 5 oz and uses a 6. 25" pirn. 15" is just 6 oz and uses an 8" pirn.
