It’s incredibly tacky, which is exactly what you want—once it’s pressed down, it isn't going anywhere.It was easy to trim with a standard pair of scissors. Definitely makes a huge difference in rattles and quality of music inside the cabin. highly recommend and great quality for the money. The back comes off with ease and super easy to cut and place.

It wasn’t too bad as a finisher on top of actual sound deadening. However, be sure you apply it where you want it as it does not come off. If you try to pull it off, it leaves a nasty residue and some of the foam sticks to said residue
