The 2. 1" diagonal display features 480x480 16 bit full color pixels and uses an IPS panel for excellent color viewing angles up to 80 degrees. The TFT driver is the ST7701S which utilizes SPI solely for configuration and TTL RGB 'dot clock' data for pixel control. Note that you cannot draw pixels over SPI.
